A total of 160 micro and small entrepreneurs have successfully completed the GrowBiz 2024/2025 Programme, an initiative aimed at enhancing business capabilities and competitiveness. Empowering Entrepreneurs for Sustainable Growth
GrowBiz, implemented under the Micro Entrepreneur Business Development Programme (BizME) by SME Corp Malaysia, provides comprehensive support to entrepreneurs in transitioning their businesses from micro to small-scale enterprises. Since its launch in 2021/2022, this marks the third successful cohort under the programme, demonstrating its effectiveness in driving entrepreneurial growth.
Dato’ Sri Khairul highlighted that the GrowBiz 2024/2025 participants play a crucial role in scaling up micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Malaysia. He reiterated KUSKOP’s goal to increase the number of medium-sized enterprises from the current 1.8% to 5%, with an ambitious revised target of 10% set during a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
In an exciting announcement, he also revealed that top-performing participants from this year’s programme would receive their certificates from Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim at a special event in Tawau, Sabah, in May 2025.
