Entrepreneur Networking Session 2024: When Women Speak

The Entrepreneur Networking Session 2024, held on 12 November 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, marked a significant milestone in empowering women in business, with the theme ‘Women in Contemporary Business.’ This dynamic event brought together over 130 passionate female entrepreneurs, along with inspiring leaders from various industries, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and growth. The session provided an invaluable opportunity for attendees, including participants from the GrowBiz participants to network, share experiences and forge new connections that will help drive their businesses forward.
The event was moderated by Ms Anusia Ramasamy, CEO of AverNoble, who led an engaging and insightful conversation with an esteemed panel of speakers. The panel featured YBrs. Prof. Madya Dr. Sharifah Syahirah, Vice Chancellor of UPTM, YBhg. Datin Winnie Loo, Founder of A-Cut Above and Puan Sarini Zainal Abidin, Founder of The Pastels Shop. Each panelist shared their unique entrepreneurial journey, offering powerful lessons on resilience, innovation and leadership. Their stories not only inspired the attendees but also highlighted the importance of women’s leadership in shaping the future of business.
The session was further elevated by the presence of key government and industry leaders, with the event officially opened by YBhg. Dato’ Sri Khairul Dzaimee bin Daud, Secretary General of KUSKOP. Also in attendance were representatives from KUSKOP and SME Corp, who expressed their ongoing support for women entrepreneurs and the role they play in driving economic growth. This event served as a powerful reminder of the strength and potential of women in business, fostering a supportive community where leaders uplift and inspire one another.
